This art deco Armadale duplex on one title with potential for redevelopment has been sold by Michael Ebeling and Jack Edgar of RT Edgar following an auction campaign.
There were three registered bidders in attendance and the property was sold directly after the conclusion of the auction for an undisclosed sum.
The duplex pair gives potential purchasers the option to live in one property and lease out the other or purchase for their children to live in, convert to one family home or build a new luxury home (STCA).
On the market for the first time, the property has been owned by the same family for 100 years, first purchased by Frederick Eager in November 1922. Frederick lived in a small weatherboard cottage at the address with his wife Mabel and their sons Frederick and Gerald.
Speaking to LUXURY LIST WEEKEND, Michael Ebeling said there were 34 inspections during the 4.5-week campaign.
“We had good interest from downsizers and young families in particular who looking at buying a larger home for their family.”
“A young family purchased the home, they have 3 children and their fourth due in February 2023.”
