Lune Croissanterie Opens its Third Melbourne Store: Armadale Edition

Internationally acclaimed patisserie Lune Croissanterie has opened up its third Melbourne store in Armadale, bringing carrot cake croissants, pains au chocolate, and cruffins to the base of the luxurious apartment building at 835 High Street, Armadale. On opening day last Saturday, a crowd of Lune loyalists were rugged – and lined – up outside its new Armadale croissanterie even before the door swung open at 8am sharp.

The largest store to date

Lune Croissanterie's Armadale store is its largest to date, with a spacious outdoor seating area that's perfect for people watching on a sunny day. If you're lucky enough to snag one of the coveted window seats, you'll have a front-row view of Lune's pastry chefs in action as they create their magic in the kitchen. The Armadale store boasts an impressive selection of cakes, pastries, breads, chocolates, and other sweet treats, including some seasonal favorites like pumpkin pie and Christmas pudding.

It has a minimalistic interior

The first thing you will notice about Lune is the minimalistic interior design, which includes white walls, wooden floors, and light wood furniture. There are no frills or froufrou here; just a well-stocked shop where you can buy your favorite Lune products straight from the counter. And if you want to take home something special, there's plenty of room in the bakery case to wrap it up yourself.

The owners share their words

Kate Reid and Cam Reid, who own Lune with husband Chris, say they are thrilled to be expanding into Armadale. "We've been very busy since we opened our doors," Kate says. "It's been great to see so many familiar faces come through the doors."

"Our customers love coming to Armadale because it's such a beautiful part of town," she adds. "And now we get to share this space with them."

Opening Hours

The Armadale store will be open from 7am until late every day, except Sunday when it closes at 4pm. Whether you're a Lune fan or new to the croissant game, this latest addition to the Lune family is sure to be a hit with Melbourne foodies. Bon appetit!
