In a career spanning more than thirty years, Julian has seen first hand the remarkable evolution of Melbourne’s real estate market and in particular, the management of residential property. Starting out in 1987, Julian has devoted his life to helping owners and tenants achieve the outcomes each aspires to – for landlords, a healthy and stable return on investment and for tenants, an enjoyable and secure place to call home. During this time, Julian studied assiduously, attaining a Bachelor of Business in Property, which has given him a unique and valuable insight into the mathematics of investment, identifying cost effective ways to maximise returns. These include not only financial returns but also overall peace-of-mind for landlords who can enjoy comfort in the knowledge that any issues will be handled efficiently and conflicts managed with skill, empathy and understanding. In addition to Julian’s extensive expertise in providing stress-free property management, he is also a highly experienced agency director, having owned and operated a number of real estate businesses. He shares this experience and knowledge with newer members of his team at RT Edgar, Elwood as he guides them in their own professional development and in turn promoting the growth of the agency. As an avid distance walker and local resident for over 15 years, Julian also applies his remarkable energy to his passion for the outdoors: hiking through the Dandenongs or, closer to home, exploring Bayside’s incredible coastline, its array of fine cafes and the unmatched beachside atmosphere that makes Elwood and its neighbouring suburbs some of Melbourne’s most treasured places to live.
