Thriving on the one-on-one connections she builds with her clients, this former Microbiology Scientist demonstrates her embedded attention to detail through her enthusiasm as a Property Manager. Having started her working life diagnosing diseases and infections while also delving into the world of heart research, it didn’t take Marissa Boyd long to realise that real estate was her true passion. Now residing in Lancefield, Marissa grew up visiting her grandfather’s farm in Woodend so is comfortably familiar with the Macedon Ranges area and confidently works with her clients to ensure best outcomes for both landlords and tenants. Calm, authentic and patient with a happy disposition, Marissa is a long-time landlord herself, so understands completely the needs and concerns of her clients. She prides herself on delivering superior, personalised service to her clients and this is reflected in the way she approaches her work. Understanding the importance of being actively involved in her community, Marissa currently volunteers as Secretary for the Romsey Scout Group and has also been a foster carer for animals, as well as a volunteer at Second Chance Animal Rescue. In her spare time Marissa loves tending to her garden - especially her roses - and enjoys going to the movies and having picnics with her son and partner. You might also find Marissa wandering through the local markets enjoying the fresh produce and other goodies we’re usually spoilt with from our local traders. Also a keen photographer, Marissa loves scrapbooking and showcasing her pictures of family and friends and the experiences they have shared. Encompassing her love of animals, one day Marissa hopes to have some miniature cattle, chooks and sheep on her property, harnessing all the nature and beauty that the Macedon Ranges region has to offer.
