Ray Cashmore

Ray Cashmore is a licensed real estate agent and auctioneer with a long-standing reputation for integrity and hard work. His knowledge of the Macedon Ranges district is strong. Previously, Ray worked in real estate for many years in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and on the Bellarine Peninsula where the properties he dealt with included residential land and homes, beach houses, hobby farms, vineyards and commercially-operating, larger-scale rural holdings. Noted for his mentorship of younger real estate agents, Ray has conducted many courses for the REIV over the years in Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo. Ray’s previous career includes being a lecturer at Victoria University in business and scientific communication, 4 years as manager of the Dunes Golf Links and 4 years as a senior golf course designer and construction supervisor in his brother’s Melbourne-based company, Cashmore Golf Design, mainly working in China, Vietnam and South Korea. These experiences have provided Ray with a broad view of the world which adds to his capacity to deal confidently and competently with the buying and selling public. Ray believes that successful real estate practice revolves around achieving mutually-agreeable outcomes for both buyers and sellers and prides himself on his ability to listen empathetically, to communicate openly, honestly and regularly, to negotiate strongly but fairly and to treat both buyers and sellers with integrity. Ray is married and he and his wife have two grown-up daughters. Ray likes to spend his spare time playing golf, walking, reading, cooking and catching up with friends.
