After completing university, Sharon started her career in the radio advertising industry, progressing to a corporate career in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Software and most recently Artificial Intelligence. She held senior management roles in sales, business development and partner management and a Director of Channels role across Australia, New Zealand and India.

A fifth generation Victorian Goldfields girl who grew up in Maryborough, Sharon moved to the Macedon Ranges 17 years ago. She embraces country life to the full, enjoying holidays with her teenage son, friends and family and camping and fishing. She is also a keen jet skiing, boating and water sports enthusiast and motorcyclist, and enjoys nothing better than taking her Harley Davidson out for a cruise with friends.
A proud Braemar Mum, past Gisborne Soccer and Macedon Cats football club team manager, and now retired Junior Basketball Coach, she loves cheering for her son Noah’s team when he competes with the Macedon Ranges Basketball Association and represents the Rookies in the VJBL.
