In 1996, Ted Jao was the first Taiwanese migrant to forge a successful business management career on dairy farms in Australia. In 2007, Ted combined his astute business acumen, passion for real estate investment, and family history in building to realise his real estate career aspirations. His dedication to marketing, sales and negotiation together with a can-do attitude and an ingrained hard-working philosophy has brought thrilling results to his clients over the past decade. Today, that dedication has established Ted as a director and licensed estate agent at RT Edgar Boroondara. Fluent in Mandarin and English, Ted’s friendly and honest personality ensures his enjoyment of the industry, to which he says ‘getting to know my clients personally, and understanding their needs is the best part of my job – and I love to exceed their expectations’. Although Ted has a light-hearted approach to life, his reputation for attention to detail and perseverance is fastidious, which ultimately yields his amazing results. Married to Annabelle Feng since 2005, also his business partner and co-director of RT Edgar, Ted enjoys a balanced work-family life. He enjoys playing golf or tennis with friends in his downtime, or taking his daughters Isabella and Priscilla to the movies.
